Founder of O Nutricia Licia Tavares says that the most abundant amino acid - glycine, which accounts for one-third of the amino acids in the collagen molecule has promising sleep supporting perks. It is suggested that the ingestion of collagen before bed helped maintain satisfactory levels of self-perceived sleep quality

In addition to acting as a precursor to creatine, glycine may improve sleep quality by acting as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the brain and nervous system. A scoop of collagen taken prior to sleeping has been reported back by users to improve self-reported sleep quality, reduce morning fatigue, and even improve day-time cognitive function associated with better sleep. But don’t worry – consumption during the day won’t knock you out.

  1. Stop worrying about your sleep patterns or lack of sleep, and stop reading about all the bad things that can happen to you if you don’t sleep.
  2. The second tip is to realize that unmanaged, chaotic, toxic thoughts will create chaotic and toxic energy in the brain, which can keep you awake at night, causing brain damage and mental health issues.
  3. Do not allow yourself to lie in bed panicking about not sleeping.
  4. Have more “thinker moments” through the day
  5. Do not let that adrenalin keep pumping!
  6. Build your brain during the day so you don’t go to sleep with damaged nerve cells
