Zuraida is the founder of Mind Lab Global, championing mental fitness as essential for optimal functioning in our complex world. Currently pursuing her PhD in the Department of Psychiatry, her research examines how mindfulness-based interventions benefit elite athletes, demonstrating the powerful intersection of mental conditioning and physical performance. Drawing from her background in Psychology, Functional Medicine Health Coaching, and Advanced Breathwork Therapy, she has developed evidence-based protocols that integrate cutting-edge neuroscience with time-tested mindfulness practices. As a thought leader in the mental fitness space, she challenges the reactive approach to mental wellbeing that has long dominated our culture.
Her research-driven methodology, incorporating NLP techniques, meditation, and visualisation, has revolutionised how we understand and enhance mental resilience. Through Mind LabGlobal, she pioneers innovative approaches that have led to measurable improvements across diverse fields, from athletes to corporate leadership and high functioning individuals, making mental fitness practices accessible and practical to all.
Rushda Moosajee
Rushda Moosajee, professionally known as RushTush, is a qualified personal trainer, entrepreneur, and mother of four boys. With over 15 years in the health and fitness industry, she has become a household name, inspiring and empowering women through her premium wellness brand, RushTush.
Her global eCommerce business offers a range of premium supplements, fitness programs, eating plans and lifestyle solutions, including RushTushFit, South Africa’s first built fitness app. She also leads the RushTush Run Club, fostering a community of strong, motivated women.
Rushda’s influence extends beyond fitness - starting South Africa’s first subscription based fashion rental brand, Front Row, and was part of the esemble cast on The Real Housewives of Cape Town. Her High Fashion Visionary Award for 2025, from Glamour further cemented her status as a trailblazer in health, wellness, fashion and female empowerment.
Kain Koppel
Kain is the Chief Operating Officer at Gloot, where his passion for people, health, and wellness fuels his optimistic and purpose-driven approach to leadership. With a solid foundation in sports supplements, project management, and team development, he brings a strategic and results-oriented mindset to every initiative, especially in building impactful, lasting brands.
Known for his strong work ethic and dynamic execution, Kain is deeply motivated by the opportunity to create meaningful, positive change, not just within the wellness industry, but in the lives of those around him. His approach blends professional excellence with a personal commitment to intentional living.
Outside of work, Kain leads a balanced lifestyle rooted in staying active, enjoying good food, and spending quality time with his family, practices that keep him grounded in what truly matters. Anne-marié De Beer
With a strong academic foundation in Dietetics and Hospital Nutrition from North-West and Pretoria Universities, Anne-marié De Beer brings over two decades of leadership in nutrition science and health promotion. She began her career as the first dietitian appointed by the Johannesburg Metro Council and has since held pivotal roles at Nestlé South Africa, where she now leads as the Nutrition Health and Wellness Manager for East & Southern Africa.
Her work focuses on improving the nutritional quality of brands and building nutrition capacity among health professionals across the continent. A founding member of both the Gauteng Breastfeeding Forum and the African Paediatric Gastroenterology Forum, she has spearheaded several impactful initiatives, including a multilingual CPD platform for healthcare professionals.
She is a member of the Association for Dietetics in Southern Africa, the Nutrition Society, and the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. Outside of her professional life, she is a proud wife, mother, and soon-to-be Mother of the Bride.
