Micasa is a household name in South Africa, and front man J’Something has fast become an icon in music as well as style (he’s just been named GQ’s Best Dressed Man of 2015!). And let’s face it, he’s pretty easy on the eyes.
Our love affair with J’Something first began when Micasa released their first hit single “These Streets”, where we fell (hard) for the band’s unique urban jazz sound. And clearly we weren’t the only ones infatuated with their tunes and good looks. The single made Micasa and J’Something a household name and soon the band was on every major South African radio station in the country.
This crooner continues to push an authentic vision of contemporary South African sound on the international stage. He’s also a true gentleman and a vision of modern masculinity and style. *sigh*
After all, what could be better than a guy who can serenade you on a date? Nothing…
