GLAMOUR: What does Women’s Month mean to you?
DONAH ROSSER: I love that we get to uplift and celebrate women all month long, giving us the opportunity to celebrate how unique and amazing each of us is.
GLAMOUR: Why is it important to celebrate the women of South Africa?
DR: South Africa offers the most diverse group of women in one country, this month we get a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the contributions and resilience of these women. Each woman has played such a pivotal role in shaping the country’s history, culture and economy.
GLAMOUR: What inspires you to be successful?
DR: The wellness blend and my background in women’s health have been significant sources of inspiration for my journey towards success. Knowing that my products contribute to improving women’s health, both physically and mentally, fuels my passion to excel. Moreover, the reason for starting this business goes beyond just financial success, it is driven by a genuine desire to empower and support women on their personal journeys.
GLAMOUR: What do you think is the most significant barrier to female success?
DR: There are a few but for me personally finding the perfect work-life balance is often a barrier to female success.
GLAMOUR: Your biggest motivation?
DR: Is seeing the positive impact that my work has in the lives of women, especially when it comes to their health and well-being. It motivates me to continually innovate, improve, and expand the reach of our products to touch more lives positively.
GLAMOUR: What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
DR: Trust your instincts, find something you love to do, be open to new experiences, and surround yourself with positive and supportive women who believe in your dreams.
GLAMOUR: Which women are on your radar and why?
DR: I am so excited to continually meet the most amazing women within wellness based in South Africa. So much of my work and inspiration has always come from overseas but since covid, I have been introduced to a dynamic network of South African women and I am so excited to get to know them better.
GLAMOUR: What’s your message to women in business?
DR: To support and uplift other women around you, celebrate your achievements and keep pushing boundaries – your success paves the way for future generations of women in business.
GLAMOUR: How are you celebrating Women’s Month?
DR: With some fabulous women and definitely some bubbles
GLAMOUR: Your favourite beauty moment?
DR: Blending herbs and botanicals for various women’s needs has been a part of my life, but my favourite beauty moment was the day my own blend of loose-leaf tea changed my skin and cleared away my hormonal acne. Experiencing the profound change in my own life reminded me of the amazing healing benefits that nature gives us through herbs and botanicals.
