Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town was eventful, to say the least. The three-day event, held at The Meadway sports field in a marquee tent, was brought to a crashing halt as strong winds persisted, leaving everyone disappointed.
The event’s hosts, African Fashion International (AFI), were forced to postpone the fashion shows altogether on the final day, after the interruptions on the first two days posed a safety threat to its fashion week regulars.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has since been rescheduled, and will now be held from 6-8 April in a more secure location still to be revealed. We can’t wait to see what the next instalment has in store for us!
