Growing up, every fashion-loving Millennial wanted to be Carrie Bradshaw at some point. From her career to her besties and iconic NYC apartment.
Now, Warner Bros. have teamed up with Airbnb to give you the chance to live a little like your favourite Sex and City character.
The companies have recreated Carrie’s Upper East Side apartment - complete with vintage Vogue magazines, fashion-packed closet, and a 90s era Apple laptop.
The apartment is now available for rent on Airbnb for $23 a night.
In honour of the premier of ...And Just Like That, the highly-anticipated Sex and the City continuation, Sarah Jessica Parker herself will host two 1-night stays in the apartment on 12 and 13 November. However, if you don’t get those dates, you’ll still get a virtual greeting from SJP upon arrival, done in her famous narrative style voice from the show.
You’ll also be treated to Cosmopolitans as a welcome toast, and have the opportunity to literally raid Carrie Bradhsaw’s closet.
Bursting with iconic fashion items from the show - including a collection of Manolo Blahniks, Carrie’s famous nameplate necklace, frills, frocks, sparkles, and the pink Patricia Fields tutu she wears in the opening credits - guests are encouraged to play dress up, and will even receive a personalised styling and photoshoot session.
“The Carrie Bradshaw character is near and dear to my heart, and revisiting her world for the continuation of the Sex and the City story has been such a joy,” says Parker. “I’m excited for our audience to experience Carrie’s New York like never before and walk in her shoes, quite literally, for the first time.”
