This September, proudly South African luxury fashion label, Kat van Duinen, will be opening its doors to a new flagship boutique in the Mother City.
Launching in Cape Town’s trendy Silo District at the V&A Waterfront, set to become a hive of activity for travellers and locals, the flagship store will be in excellent company alongside the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, the Silo Hotel and the Guild design gallery.
Founded in 2010, Kat van Duinen has established itself as a leading luxury label, known for its signature exotic leather pieces, and ready-to-wear collections.
Partnering with leading local architect Ivan McCarthy Peens to craft the store’s interior, and showcase the label’s beautiful, handcrafted pieces, Kat and Ivan’s vision for a modern, classic, minimalist and unisex space has been realised in a store that blurs the lines between boutique and gallery.
“We’re so excited to be opening our flagship boutique in Cape Town and delighted to have secured a spot in the much-coveted Silo District,” Kat said of the move. Make sure you head on down to her store to support truly amazing South African talent.
