Gloves have become a lot sexier and dramatic this season. No longer seen as a basic accessory, gloves are giving us main character energy and we are all for it. Traditionally reserved for black tie events and merely functional accessories to combat the winter months we now get to enjoy them as stand out pieces.
Luxury brands like Rochas and Vaquera debuted long length gloves that slinked up the arm in lace and leather versions for a fresher and edgier look. The leather gloves by Vaquera were designed with a dramatic zip detail and due to their much longer length they styled it by creating a flap effect with the excess material. The contrast of the different colours of the interior fabric with the outside added more interest to the gloves and enhanced the overall look.
Louis Vuitton’s design was an oversized faux fur and fringe offering that is a statement piece for any look. These options add excitement to any look and is guaranteed to be a conversation starter.
