Is Taylor Swift writing her perfect ‘love story’ by buying a castle?

Taylor Swift has reportedly been looking into buying a $4.8 million Scottish castle.

The ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker is believed to have been checking out the 16th-century property so she can be nearer to her superstar DJ beau Calvin Harris and his family, according to MailOnline.

The castle would be perfect as it’s just a 90-minute drive away from the Harris’ residence in Edinburgh.

Tower of Lethendy north of Perth in Scotland was built in 1570 and boasts an impressive eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, 40-acres of land, an 18-hole golf, heated swimming pool, tennis courts and two staff cottages.

It wouldn’t be the first time the blonde beauty has moved for her boyfriend.

The 25-year-old pop star moved next door to her former lover Conor Kennedy in 2012 and she spent $1 million more than the Scottish abode on a $4.9 million Cape Cod mansion.

The star previously joked about how people say buying real estate for “every boy” she likes is something she does.

She told Vanity Fair: “People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real-estate market just to freak you out so you leave me.”

Taylor already has homes in Nashville, New York and Beverly Hills, but this would be her first in the UK.

And then, just like that our hopes have been dashed…

That’s right, Taylor Swift has dismissed rumours she was set to buy a luxury £4.6m castle in Scotland, after US magazines suggested the she was interested in the Tower of Lethendy, about 15 miles north of Perth.

Last night she tweeted lines about a castle from the track New Romantics, which features on her multi-million selling album 1989.

Taylor added: “I’m not actually buying a castle.”
