Hailing from the second largest state in the United States Of America of Texas, he was born in Dallas and raised in Tyler. David is an interesting blend of French, Irish, and Native-American descent, which explains his gorgeous tan and exotic features. “I am physically driven and have a personality filled with love, charm, beautiful energy. Hence why I take care and treat my body with care by working out 4 times a week and keeping to a healthy high-protein and vegetarian diet regimen”, he says.
David has had an extremely successful career doing campaigns, runway and commercial print all over the globe. He’s not just a easy on the eyes though,he’s a multifaceted talent; he is a former trumpet player and gymnastics coach. David studied criminal justice and international studies focused on counter-terrorism, yikes!
When asked what advice he would give to aspiring male models he responded, “Some of the most important things I have learned about modelling is that just because you get a no doesn’t mean that you are liked. Always be on time, by that I mean be early. Always persevere and stay positive, as well as network as much as possible. I also learned to move on quickly, get plenty of rest. Never give up. Do not dwell on things such as auditions and castings, do your best and once you step out that door, forget about it!”.
David strives to be an inspiration to those in need by helping people follow their ambitions, goals, and dreams via the #besomebody platform. This platform is an avenue that allows people to connect based on shared passion and is my former employer in Austin, TX prior to moving to Cape Town.
In terms of his future plans, David would like to work in New York, London, and Germany and also plans on owning real-estate internationally and continue to travel the world. He’s currently working on finishing his masters in psychology so that he can assist clients in a specific field of counselling and one of his major goals is to book a fragrance or high-end luxury campaign with a major brand in New York City.
