Glamour's Women of The Year event honoured the winners with a stunning portrait image to immortalise the occasion

GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year event was hosted at Summer Place Hyde Park, which set the tone for this glamorous red carpet event. Winners and guests were treated to a culinary feast and delicious cocktails accompanied by live performances as the nominees were celebrated for their achievements.

GLAMOUR’s highly anticipated flagship event took place at the lush Summer Place in Hyde Park on Saturday 23 November. Guests from far and wide arrived in style for the pink carpet affair; including South Africa’s elite, trailblazing business leaders, and influential figures across industry. Hosted by our Spring Issue Cover Star, Hulisani Ravele, the event’s tone was aptly captured by the well-deserving winners, who took a moment not only to revel in the present but also to reflect on the year that was.The live entertainment invited guests to lean in and soak up the magic of WOTY. As a global event, the Women of the Year Awards has honoured an array of international icons, most recently Serena Williams, Taraji P. Henson and Pamela Anderson. Locally, the awards celebrate South Africa’s brightest stars, with previous honorees including Anele Mdoda, Siba Mtongana, Thuso Mbedu, and PeaceHyde. This year’s winners are no exception, representing the epitome of innovation and influence.The resounding success of the 2024 event can be largely attributed to the incredible support from our partners, whose shared values of empowerment, diversity and innovation were reflected in every aspect of the evening.
