Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Cape Town left viewers shook as insults were the order of the day. Like that wasn’t enough, some of the ladies walked off set.
What was supposed to be a reunion of The Real Housewives of Cape Town franchise ended up being a hot mess as Thato Montse started breathing fire. Even Vusi Twala, the host, couldn’t stop her.
On the topic of Vusi, can I just say he still looks as good as he did as a continuity presenter on SABC 1, or was it Simunye back then?
Thato came out guns blazing, clearly triggered by all the events that took place throughout the season. Rooksie took centre stage for a while as she vehemently denied setting foot in Camilla’s home but there were receipts honey!!! Sis wasn’t happy that her space was invaded while Rooksie maintained that there’s nothing special about her house. That’s not the point but ok!
Rush Tush was also called out for her abstenteeism from events but somehow had a lot say during her confessionals.
There’s a lot to be unpacked but some situations need more time like what seemed to be a kumbaya moment between Thato and Bev but went south real quick. The ex friends expressed love for each other but just seconds later, Thato was hurling insults at Bev, calling her all sorts of names. I can’t even write it here. All I can say is, everything ain’t Gucci or is it Cucci?
Vusi had his work cut out for him as he tried to calm Thato down but she wasn’t having it. She wasn’t moved by the mass exodus following the explosive receipts she dropped regarding Bev’s ex-husband. Are you following? To be honest, my head is still spinning but I’m definitely not missing part 2 on the 9th of October.
