So the last time we saw the ladies was at the RHOD Reunion of season 1, and it was quite intense! The drama that unfolded between Ayanda, Nonku and “The Queen” left a lot of viewers with mixed emotions. The socials were a mess to the point where Nonku had to disable her comments on Instagram. Ayanda stans were not impressed, and it seems they still haven’t forgiven Nonku who has since released a statement on her Insta basically telling her haters to swerve!
On a lighter note though, we’re happy to see some new faces, and the viewers are clearly here for it too! Songstress Londie London and artist Jojo made quite an entrance, bringing a colorful dynamic to the show. We were also pleasantly surprised to see LaConco’s softer side; the charismatic queen who is usually guarded, had us in our feels when she finally opened up to Sorisha. It was quite a moment but knowing “LaC” she will rise and find her smile again.
As for Nonku and Annie…they seemed to be getting along but the confessionals suggest otherwise. Let’s see how this dynamic plays out. We’re anticipating Thobile MaKhumalo Mseleku’s intro soon, and judging by her interactions with her fellow sister wives on the popular reality show, Uthando Nes’thembu, she won’t have any issues settling in.
Although it seems a lot has changed including Ayanda and Kgomotso not being part of the cast, we’re still inspired by how the ladies show up, hold it down, and secure the bag. One thing about the Real Housewives of Durban, they’re about the bag and they’re not about to fumble it!
We look forward to more events, bubbles, epic moments and of course… drama!!!
