Big Nuz member and producer, Mandla Maphumulo, affectionately known as Mampintsha, has died. He was reported to be recovering from a minor stroke in hospital when the news of his untimely passing broke.
Afrotainment shared the news of his passing through a statement on Instagram.

The fallen musician who pioneered the Gqom genre together with Big Nuz and Afrotainment will be remembered for his hit tracks As’trende, Msheke-Sheke, Joburg and Dubane.
This is another blow to the entertainment fraternity which has lost a few stars this year including DJ Sumbody, Riky Rick, Killa Kau, Mpura, DJ Dimplez and DJ Citi Lyts.
He is survived by his mother, wife, Bongekile Simelane, popularly known as Babes Wodumo, and their son.
