New Music Friday: K. O drops "Pharadise" ft. Young Stunna and teases upcoming album

South African veteran rapper, K.O — also known as Mr Cashtime — has dropped yet another scorching new single featuring Amapiano hitmaker, Young Stunna, titled "Pharadise". Seamlessly blending Hip-Hop and Amapiano, "Pharadise" is a taste of K.O's upcoming album "Phara City" and proves just how much pushing musical boundaries builds bridges across genres.

Having collaborated in the past on a chart-topping single called "SETE", K.O and Young Stunna leave fans with no doubt that this song will stay on repeat. With K.O delivering razor-sharp verses and Young Stunna serving melodies in the chorus, listeners took to Twitter to express how moved they are by this single. Some loved the song for it's relatability, and others appreciated the message behind it.

Before the release of "Pharadise", Mr Cashtime announced his album release date for "Phara City" earlier in the week in a heartfelt Instagram post. The post reads:

"An open letter in musical form to my people, my heart, my South Africa—this one’s for us. Phara City, my new album dropping June 13, 2025, is a mirror held up to our lives, reflecting the raw, beautiful chaos we navigate every day. We’re a nation of hustlers, dreamers, fighters—laughing through the pain, loving through the struggle, uniting through it all. This project is the soundtrack to that story, our story, scored with every ounce of my soul.

Pain, love, joy, ambition—these are the pillars of Phara City. After months of doubt, grind, and belief in the vision, I’m ready to share this time capsule with you. Thank you for rocking with me and for being part of the Ntokozo K.O Mdluli journey for 19 years. Here’s to making you proud with this next chapter."

Fans can look forward to an album that reflects pain, love, joy, and ambition. This album is set to be a form of storytelling and allow listeners to immerse themselves in music that resonates with them and their everyday lives.
