Real wedding alert!

Loads of personal touches, a lakeside venue and a dreamy dress made this couple’s wedding a “magical moment”.

Nicol’s dress can only be described as the ultimate princess dress! To all the brides-to-be who may be having doubts about their dress, don’t worry because you’re not alone. “I had actually met with a designer and bought my fabric when I had second thoughts over a more vintage-look dress,” Nicol explains. “I freaked out and took a trip to Wedding Time in Cape Town. I found a dress that had the kind of skirt I was looking for, but it was boob tube which I swore I would never wear! But when I tried it on, my bridesmaids’ reactions and the way it made me feel said it all… It was my dream dress. Looking back at my Pinterest board, I see that it was actually identical to one of the first photos I pinned!” Proof that your first choice is often right!
