Pantone Sundays is a colour-themed fashion experience where both designers and the style-conscious can express themselves hosted by Nandi Dlepu aka Mamakashaka. Pantone Sundays is all about celebrating a contemporary African aesthetic and the creative expression of fashion at play. Since 2018 Pantone Sundays have given the emerging fashion community a space to meet, network and express their evolving identity.
For the Cape Town peach edition, the fashion experience was held at the aesthetically pleasing Rooftop on Bree venue overlooking the statuesque Table Mountain.
Capetonians showed up in their peach hues and Instagram was never ready for what could be the most beautiful colour coordinated shade of peach. The party experience included fashion for sale items from Cape Town-based designed BROKE, a cross-cultural clothing brand that aims to tell the stories of those regarded as misfits and/or rebels of the society as well as delicious cocktails from SKYY Vodka.
