Germany is known for manufacturing an array of sweet treats like Haribo, apple strudel, and Kinder Joy, so naturally, they’d be responsible for producing the best ‘ Man Candies’. This week’s Man Candy is the German-born international model, Paul Jacinto. His jaw-droppingly good looks and killer-watt smile have seen him fronting commercial campaigns for Kopparberg Cider, Zando, Adidas.
When he is not modeling he can be found surfing or spending time in the outdoors; because of this, Paul says his favourite campaign was for activewear brand Gore-Tex, where he spent a week in the Slovenian Mountains.
Represented locally by Ice Genetics, the humble and down to earth hottie of Ghanian, German and Portuguese decent sat down with GLAMOUR while on his first work trip to Cape Town.
What would you say is your best attribute and why?
I think one of my strongest attributes is that I am someone who always questions things. I don’t just take things at face value, or as society presents them. I prefer to make up my own mind and try to make sense of things using my own logic and understanding of the dynamics behind it. I definitely like to see this attribute as a positive one, even though it sometimes also gets me into trouble, and makes me learn the hard way. Like when I can’t refrain from questioning authorities or conventions of a society.
What inspires you?
My mother. I know, you’ve probably heard that before. But, she has the most beautiful personality. She has so much love, power, drive and confidence that it seems that there is nothing that she can’t handle or achieve.

Whats your idea of the perfect date?
I really don’t believe that a setting or location can have any influence or effect on a date. For me, the perfect date is with the perfect person. It’s that simple.
What’s your favourite drink?
My favourite drink is coconut water, right out of a young coconut. It’s just so refreshing and it’s also super healthy.
What is your dream vacation destination?
I have been traveling a lot throughout the last 3 years for work, but when it comes to vacation destinations, my bucket list keeps getting longer. For now, I think New Zealand and Nicaragua are on the top of my list.

Do you have any regrets when it comes to past relationships?
No, I don’t. I have actually only ever had one very long serious relationship, and I made every effort to give it my best. And as we are all just human beings, I guess that’s the most we can do.
Who is your style icon?
I don’t really have one. I think I mostly get my style inspiration from sports and music, which both play an important part in my life.
Who is your WCW?
Jourdan Dunn.
