This past weekend Bulawayo came alive with guests springing to life and jetting from across Zimbabwe and the region to attend the much anticipated – The PiChani, an exclusive annual PAN African lifestyle and networking event that integrates young achievers and leaders from across all sectors of influence, namely the creative, diplomatic, tourism, finance, agriculture, mining, civic and other sectors.
The event which ran under the theme Spring to Life was held at an undisclosed venue koBulawayo and is curated by Gilmore Tee and managed by Paper Bag Africa, supported by Three Monkeys, Cresta Churchill, Solatek, Fast Jet, Matobo Hills Lodge, PES and Muzeezo Mupati.
Some of the esteemed guests included South Africa’s Multi-Award winning Content Creator, Make-Up-Artist – Mihlali Ndamase, who jetted in the same day of the event and shared her excitement of being in Zimbabwe for the first time on social media, Editor-In-Chief for Glamour Magazine – Nontando Mposo, Radio Personality – MisRed, DJ Ray Dizz, Former Miss Zimbabwe – Samantha Tshuma, Miss Tourism Zimbabwe – Ashley Morgen, Musicians – Willom Tight, Msiz’Kay, MAWIZA, Diplomats – Butholezwe Nyathi and Nomathamsanqa Msimanga.
The well-executed event featured a live mannequin exhibition, with a fashion show by Zimbabwe’s Haus of Stone, a visual arts exhibition by renowned Zimbabwean artist – Neville Starling and performances by Poet – Chioniso Tsikisayi, musicians Vuyo Brown and ZARAE.
