Quick question... What were you doing on the 1st of May? We are certain most of you will say you were just chilling right? We were doing the same, but at the ultimate chillas, Flying Fish Flavor Chillas. It was definitely the place to be, we had our nails and hair did and we felt hella good. Everything was perfect. Can you imagine just laying and chilling on a bin bag, sipping on some amazing beer flavored cocktails (yes Flying Fish can be used to make cocktails Sis), and listening to your favorite music acts live, just like it was your backyard? That's exactly what we did. Sipped on some cocktails and watched Shekinah, Uncle Party Time, Darkie Fiction, Blaq Kongo and Jamaican born trap house jazz musician, Masego. It was the perfect day.
One of the things we absolutely loved the most was how colorful the set up was, so fresh and just relaxed. We also saw some pretty interesting lewks that we will definitely 'steal' soon and also slay them in our own way. We were pretty chilled for most of the chillas until our crush Masego came on stage, just like what Thembi Seete says 'We didn't know what to do with ourselves', lucky enough we had cold Flying Fishes to keep us cool from the heat that is Masego.
If there's one chillas we wouldn't mind going to again, its Flying Fish Flavor Chillas. However, while we wait for it, we will use the tips we learned there to host our own backyard chillas with Shekinah and Masego present, except this time they will be on our playlist and not live.
