Wipe the dust off your whips and have a hunt for your handcuffs: it’s time to revisit Mr Christian Grey again (and we are not ashamed to be excited).
E. L. James has announced that Darker will be published next month, and is a sequel to Grey, a novel re-telling the Fifty Shades story from Christian’s perspective. As Ana learns more about Christian’s past in Fifty Shades Darker , we can’t wait to uncover more secrets from his point of view.
“The inside of Christian’s head is a pretty daunting place to be,” said James. “Writing Darker offered me new insights into his character and motivations, and I hope readers find those insights as compelling as I did.”
Grey was the fastest selling book in the history of Penguin Random House, so we’re sure that eager fans will be queuing up to pre-order (and it’s available as an e-book for those prone to blushing on the morning commute, so don’t worry, your secret is safe with us).
Well, with a November release date and some speedy readers, it sounds like Matildas will need to stock up on toys and stockings for, erm, Christmas stockings. Meanwhile, we can’t wait for Jamie Dornan to grace our screens again next February for the finale of the film series, Fifty Shades Freed .
