Cape Town is about to be the host of South Africa’s first resort collection fashion show conceptualised by Gavin Rajah in partnership with Pick Pay Clothing and five top local designers.
The Cape Town Resort Collection, #CTRC2019, will be officially showcased at the Norval Foundation, the iconic contemporary art museum and sculpture garden located in the Constantia Winelands on November 23rd 2019.
The fashion collective chose the Mother City as the location for their innovative collaboration because resort collections have become more destination-driven and associated with luxury lifestyle. Coca Cola Peninsula Beverages are part of the #CTRC2019 initiative and plan to further the development and sustainability for the creative industry in the Western Cape.
Including celebrated fashion designer, Gavin Rajah, the fashion show will feature the creations of five formidable South African designers’ collections, while MAC Cosmetics and Kevin Murphy will create summer-inspired makeup and hair looks, as the official beauty partners for the event.
Perfect for locals who will be starting or planning their holidays in mid-year, or for international clients who are at the start of their social season, #CTRC2019 promises to be this Summer’s most captivating fashion event.
