Kelly Rowland insists she isn’t jealous of Beyoncé. The X Factor USA judge suggested she was envious of her former Destiny’s Child bandmate’s solo success in her ballad ‘Dirty Laundry’, which includes the lyrics “while my sister was on stage, killing it/I was enraged, feelin’ it,” but now says the song is about her “personal battles” and she has no issues with the ‘Love on Top’ singer, who is still her best pal.
The 32-year-old singer told In Touch magazine: “I’m not saying I’m jealous of her by any means! It’s so sad that people always go straight to that place [of jealousy]. It’s ridiculous. It’s basically about me going through some struggles in my life while she was doing her thing.” She added: “She’s incredibly supportive. She was proud of me and thought the song was incredible.”
Kelly also revealed that she would love to reunite with Beyonce and their other Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams. She said: “If the ladies want to do it. I’d totally be excited. It’d be beautiful!”
