This week’s style diarist is myself. I spend 99% of my time in the men’s realm, that’s of course what happens when you work for the biggest men’s fashion magazine but what I am getting to is that it makes it much more exciting when I get the time to play with women items. And I thank the embrace of androgynous/gender-less and unconventional fashion which has made the cross-over quite seamless and allows me to express myself confidently without the questioning frown I grew up experiencing from friends and family.
I dress according to three factors; my feelings, plan of action for the day and the weather, although living in Cape Town requires a creative strategy dressing because of its insane weather which is popularly known for having four seasons in one day. Sometimes, I let my hair decide my ootd because it doesn’t necessarily take well to rules, it has a mind of its own.
With all of that said, here’s a brief peek into my wardrobe and how I put together my outfits in five days.
Day 1
Witchery knit crop, Witchery flute hem knit skirt and The FIX block heel.
Day 2
Country Road spot print culotte, Levis t-shirt and Legit block heel.
Day 3

Day 4
Superbalist t-shirt dress and Puma basket bow sneaker.
Day 5
MRP plaid skirt, Puma x Ader Error men’s crew sweater and Inspiration thigh high boots.
