Nicole Leah Ogle is a PR force. As the Head of Influencer Marketing, Strategy & Development at OnPoint PR, Nicole knows a thing or two about creating engaging content.

One thing that definitely gets people talking is her fashion sense. Nicole has become known for her stand-out style. Bright, bold, and unapologetic, her everyday ‘fits are the epitome of dopamine dressing - but in the chicest way possible.

When she’s not having a power suit moment in pink, orange, or purple, she’s pairing a leather trench coat with neon yellow leggings and matching stiletto pumps.

But it’s her collection of wide-leg pants that’s truly her signature look. Styled with a voluminous top, fitted shirt, or oversized blazer, Nicole has the ability to make every item look completely unique.

Whatever she wears, it’s her confidence that truly make her outfits pop. Here, Nicole chats to us about finding her style, outfit tips, and how she uses fashion as a form of self-expression.

What are some of your favorite go-to fashion pieces or wardrobe essentials?

My favorite go-to fashion piece is my wide-leg pants paired with a classic bold-colored shirt and a pair of heels.

How do you stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends while still maintaining your own unique style?

Fashion magazines, social media, and runway shows are ways to keep on trend. I try to infuse the latest trends into my wardrobe by experimenting with what I have and then adding some trendy pieces if they make sense with my style, and if I can restyle and re-wear them.

Are there any specific fashion designers or brands that you admire and often incorporate into your outfits?

I admire Victoria Beckham, Ralph Lauren, and local designers Kathrin Kidger, Warwick, and Rich Mnisi

How do you approach styling different body types and sizes? Do you have any tips for embracing body positivity through fashion?

There is nothing more attractive than a confident woman who owns her style no matter her size. Tips: Wear clothes that make you feel confident no matter your body shape.

Can you share your top tips for accessorizing and completing a look with jewellery, bags, or shoes?

  • Investment pieces are a must for accessorizing. I invest money in a good leather sling bag and sunglasses.
  • Chucky jewelry with a white- t and jeans paired with some bold-coloured heels and a matching bag - a classic look.
  • Invest in a good pair of winter boots and a black blazer.
  • Metallic slings-back heels are a must for this summer.

How do you balance your personal style with the demands and expectations of being a style influencer?

I tried to add one or two pieces per month that add value to my wardrobe and style, while donating or gifting items I no longer wear. My rule is simple. I like to think about my style in a more sustainable way. If I can’t restyle or re-wear the new piece, I don’t buy it.

What tips do you have for creating cohesive and visually appealing outfits for different occasions and seasons?

Understand the occasion and dress code: Consider the specific occasion and its requirements. Whether it's a formal event, casual outing, or a specific theme, know the dress code and tailor your outfit accordingly.

Play with colour co-ordination: For a cohesive look, choose a colour scheme or palette that compliments each season. For example, warm and earthy tones work well for autumn, while pastel shades are popular in spring. Ensure that the colours you choose for different pieces of clothing work well together.

Mix and match textures and patterns: Experimenting with different textures and patterns can add depth and interest to your outfit. Pair a textured sweater with a sequinned skirt or mix various fabrics like silk, cotton, and leather to create contrast and visual appeal.

Accessorize thoughtfully: Accessories can elevate any outfit.

Shoes and bags that tie it all together: Select shoes and bags that enhance your outfit and tie the different elements together. Neutral-colored footwear and bags can often work well with a variety of outfits, while bolder options can add a statement-making touch.

Don't overcomplicate: Sometimes, keeping it simple is the best approach. A well-fitted and minimalistic outfit with a few carefully chosen accessories can create a polished and cohesive look for any occasion.

Do you have any advice for someone looking to revamp their wardrobe and redefine their style?

Build a basic capsule wardrobe to start and then add pieces to evaluate the basic investment pieces.

Fashion has always been my chosen medium for expressing my personal style. However, what you see on Instagram is just the final product.
