Best Dressed African stars at the premiere of the third season of Bridgerton

With the looming third season of Bridgerton, celebrities across Africa stepped in style at the premiere of the highly anticipated series in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Netflix took it up a notch with the ‘Regency Era’ theme, attendees were treated to a royal ball - paying homage to the time period the series takes place in.

Celebrities from different parts of the continent brought their A-game, from Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa it was an aristocratic evening that showcased the talent of African designers.

The red carpet was a Victorian era fashion affair with intricate yet modern designs. Embodying queen royale were some of our favourite local celebrities and neighbouring actresses and influencers, from GLAMOUR’s cover star Sarah Langa in a sheer elegant dress by South African designer Gert Johan Coetzee to Nigerian actress Priscilla Ajoke Ojo draped in an exquisite vintage garment by XtraBrides of Lagos.

Among the guests was Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh, known as Lady Danbury. This season of Bridgerton will see love blossom between Coughlan's Penelope Featherington aka Lady Whistledown and Newton's Colin Bridgerton, the pair will take their friendship to another level, viewers will also witness the early stages of Kate and Anthony Bridgerton’s marriage.
