Last night, the biggest stars in television got together to celebrate the best shows and actors at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in LA! The show with the most wins was Breaking Bad with 5, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Bryan Cranston and Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress for Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn. Julianna Margulies won Outstanding Lead Actress for her role in The Good Wife for the second time. See the whole winners list below – but before that, here are some of the best moments from the show!
Seth Meyers was the host for the evening and although he was no Tina Fey or Amy Poehler, he stood his own – opening the show with a hilarious monologue.
Bryan Cranston grabbed Julia Louis-Dreyfus and made with her – tongue and all – as she got up to accept her award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy for her role in Veep. Imagine if she had starred as Skylar White?
While presenting an award, Sofia Vergara stood on a revolving podium to show off her curves from every possible angle. Anyone else think the trophy should just be changed to her silhouette?
Actor Billy Crystal led a heartfelt tribute to his late friend, Robin Williams and was definitely one of the most emotional moments of the evening. There was also a tribute to the actor on Sunday night’s VMAs.
