Yesterday, 25 September 2017, marked the day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first joint appearance, holding hands for the cameras and being all cute.
The couple have been dating for over a year, but Harry and Meghan were yet to make an official appearance together until this weekend when the pair attended the Invictus Games in Toronto. Except, well, they didn’t actually sit together…
The pair shocked fans when they sat three whole rows apart. But they weren’t just having a lovers tiff, Meghan wasn’t allowed to sit with her royal beau because she’s is not a royal (yet) or a dignitary. The protocol meant she had to sit apart from Harry, US First Lady Melania Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. A bit harsh, right?!
But rumour has it, Harry couldn’t stop glancing over at his girlfriend. Later that afternoon the pair showed off their love on the sidelines for a wheelchair tennis match during Harry’s Invictus Games for wounded warriors in Toronto.
It was the first time the prince, 33, and the actress, 36, were snapped together by photographers, following a year-long relationship in which they have mostly eluded all but the most relentless paparazzi.
We have been hearing rumours of an engagement but the couple are yet to confirm or deny the news.
