Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brightened up 2017 with their engagement news in November, and it’s now been confirmed the couple will spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal family.
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said: “You can expect to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Ms Markle at Sandringham on Christmas Day.”
This breaks the Royal tradition that partners have to wait until they’re married before they can join the celebrations in Norfolk.
Not many other details have been confirmed, but it’s expected that Meghan and Harry will stay with Prince William and Kate Middleton at Amer Hall. This means they’ll spend Christmas morning with Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.
The family will all attend church on Christmas day morning, before Christmas lunch at the Queen’s country home, Sandringham House.
Meghan revealed last month that she’s already met the Queen, describing her as an “incredible woman”.
We can’t wait to see the pictures.
