Drake and Rihanna’s relationship is getting serious and their friends think they “were always meant to be together.”
The couple, who rekindled their relationship in February after briefly dating in 2009, have been inseparable in recent months and friends think they “were always meant to be together.”
A source close to the duo told E! News: “They got on so well and have always had a special connection from the moment they met…and now they have found each other again, everyone just feels like this is it.”
The insider added: “Their friends are so happy that they’re together. There’s a real feeling among their inner circle that they were always meant to be together. They really are made for one another. Everyone knows it. And Drake could not be happier. They couldn’t be better suited.”
The duo are eager to keep their relationship out of the spotlight and sat separately at a Clippers basketball game in Los Angeles on April 10, but the “Take Care” rapper was spotted planting a kiss on the 26-year-old singer’s cheek at the venue.
The pair were first spotted out together when Rihanna joined Drake at Soixante Dix Neuf nightclub in Paris in February, shortly after the 27-year-old rapper admitted she was his dream girl.
He said: “I mean, I think about it. Like, ‘Man that would be good.’ We have fun together. She’s cool and s**t. But we’re just friends. That’s my dog for life.”
