DJ Zinhle shares her fitness secrets!

Music maestro and mom to beautiful baby girl Kairo, Dj Zinhle is killing the post-baby bounce back game! After numerous queries about how she got her brilliant post-baby bod so quickly, she’s shared her fitness secrets on her blog.

The GLAMOUR Women of the Year winner shared images of her post-baby body and all you see is ripped abs and a phenomenal figure. It seriously doesn’t even look like she was ever pregnant! #Goals. Zinhle was kind enough to take to her blog to give detailed information about how she bounced back so quickly.

“I need to be honest with you, there is no shortcut. There is no easy road. Anything worth having won’t come easy. The truth is, there is no secret” she shared on her blog. A great source of motivation which she says has helped her is reading. She quotes ancient Chinese poet and philosopher Lao Tzu, “If you correct your mind, the rest of your life will fall into place”. We agree with Zinhle that the mind is a very powerful tool and you need to use it to achieve the results you want.

“Kairo is six months old and I am only 3kg’s away from my pre-baby weight,” says Zinhle. She’s followed a stringent regime in order to look like she does today. Check out her workout schedule that helped lose almost all her baby weight in six months flat.

1 Make a plan and set goals for your fitness journey

“How much weight do you want to lose? Write that down, weigh yourself right now and start your journey. I would suggest you keep a journal.”

2 Attend gym 5 days a week, every morning except weekends

Zinhle suggests getting up as early 5am to go to gym. The most successful achievers in the world use the golden hours of the morning.

3 Keep balanced workout and nutritional regime, 80% food and 20% exercise

“Exercise is great and bears results but if you are not eating right, you will not see the results. Your exercise program needs to be accompanied by a healthy and balanced diet if you want to see the results and lose weight. Exercise alone is not going to get you far”. “Losing weight is a form of success and in order to reach your weight or fitness goal successfully, you need to start adopting the habits of highly successful people.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Zinhle!
