Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have only reportedly been dating for less than a month, but they have already perfected the date-night game. It seems the singer and comedian spent Memorial Day weekend together; Ariana posted a video to her Instagram Story of the two roasting marshmallows over a fire pit. Though neither of their faces are in the video, Pete’s distinctive tattoos and Ariana’s nails seem to give away their identities.
Ariana reportedly broke up with her previous boyfriend, Mac Miller, in April. Since then, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer has spoken out about the split and responded to a Twitter user who criticized their breakup. “How absurd that you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them, which btw isn’t the case (just Cinderella is ab me) [sic],” Ariana wrote. “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.”
For his part, Pete responded to haters of his own who suggested that his borderline personality disorder could be a red flag for dating (and PSA, it isn’t.). “Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this ‘cause f*ck you,” he wrote in his Instagram Story. “But I been [sic] hearing a lot of ‘people with BPD can’t be in relationships’ talk. I just wanna let you know that’s not true. Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship. It also doesn’t mean that person makes the relationship toxic.”
Meanwhile, Ariana and Pete’s relationship seems to be going well. The two have been flirting in Instagram comments and may have even gotten matching cloud tattoos.
