Woolworths launches its first ever standalone beauty store in Waterstone Village

Innovative luxury retailer Woolworths launched its first ever standalone beauty store in Waterstone Village, Somerset West. A first of its kind for the brand, a select number of guests were invited to the exclusive unveiling of the new store, revealing its modern design with the brand's well-known, sophisticated aesthetic.

Glamour was fortunate to attend and witness first hand this new elevated, personalised beauty shopping destination, experiencing a curated beauty voyage, complete with an impressive range of diverse local and international high end luxury beauty products on offer.

The beauty standalone store is true to Woolworths' commitment to detail and innovation. The design concept - a modern space with tech-inspired elements - is bound to exceed customers’ expectations. And while customers can expect to be in awe of the unique beauty store look and feel, what seals the deal is the convenience of having all your beauty needs in one roof and being located right next to the Woolworths Food and WCafe in Waterstone Village.

Speaking to the General Manager of Beauty at Woolworths, Julie Maggs, she shared that her team's passion for bringing the best of beauty to the consumer is a top priority along with understanding their needs. She further emphasised how Woolworths Beauty customers will get to experience the Woolworths promise of superior product and service offerings, as well as the brand’s commitment to accelerated growth in the beauty space.

The store has invested in their own skin analysis machine to better assist in this process of targeting the individual skin concerns and offering the customer a product that is best suited for their needs. Partnering with Dermalogica, the skin experts in aesthetics skin care, customers can book treatments like micro needling, nanoinfusion, and luminfusion. Woolworths’ commitment to uplifting and empowering women is evident in partnering with Amazi, a social impact brand for women, by women to offer nail services right inside the store. Regular beauty services, including makeup, skincare, and fragrance consultations, are on offer, and customers can look forward to meeting our experienced beauty consultants in store. And for those purchasing gifts, complimentary gift wrapping is offered in store , and shoppers are encouraged to fully explore the services on offer.
