First there was ombré and pixel hair, then rainbow roots and now there’s this!
Brace yourselves… the latest hair trend to go viral on Instagram (glitter roots) sure isn’t for the faint hearted. In fact, you have to be pretty brave to pull this one off.
That being said, we kind of love it, and are getting serious space-age vibes from all the amazing pictures we’ve been seeing on social media.
As well as being really rather pretty, this trend is perfect if you haven’t had a visit to the hairdressers in a while to top up your roots.
While this is a bit of a ‘go big or go home’ kinda trend, it’s one we see being big for the festive season, and is actually fairly easy to achieve.
All you need to do to get the look is to part your hair wherever you like, dab on some gel or other product and then sprinkle on any kind of glitter all around the root area.
Viola! Hair that sparkles.
