This week is totally going to be a colourful one! Famed nail artist, Julie Kandalec, has dreamed up the ‘sunbrella nails’ – a look that’s reminiscent of the rows of umbrellas on Montauk beaches, created exclusively for the Essie Summer 2015 collection. We promise that these mouthwatering shades will brighten up your summer look.
Shades you’ll need:
- Private Weekend
- Chillato
- Peach Side Babe
- Sunset Sneaks
1. Apply two coats of Private Weekend and allow to dry completely.
2. Paint three ‘smile’ lines with a striping brush, dipped in Chillato, Peach Side Babe and Sunset Sneaks.
3. Fill in the ‘smile’ lines with each shade.
Julie’s Tips:
- Prep nails with a layer of First Base base coat.
- Make sure to clean the striping brush between colours.
- Finish the look with a coat of Good To Go top coat.
