Treat your body to a spa-like exfoliation at home with 3 ingredients you have in your kitchen. All you’ll need is a lemon or orange, sugar and oil!
- Cut the lemon or orange in half.
- Squeeze the juice from one half into a bowl. Set the other half aside.
- Add ¼ cup of brown sugar to the bowl and mix well.
- Then add ¼ of olive, avocado or coconut oil and mix again.
- Take the other half of the lemon or orange, and rub it onto your problem areas. Knees, elbows and heels tend to have the biggest build up of dry skin. The enzymes in the citrus juice will help to break down the dead skin cells.
- Apply your scrub and slough your body until it’s smooth.
- Rinse well with warm water.
- Pat skin dry and apply a moisturising lotion or cream.
