Inspired by the beauty of a Flemish painting, creative and image director for Dior Makeup, Peter Philips created a natural and minimalist look at the the Dior Haute Couture Autumn Winter 2015/16 show. “The make-up reveals a very pure aesthetic,” explains Peter. “This young woman is angelically beautiful, yet still evocative, and subtly sensual,” he adds.
Step 1 Create a flawless complexion
“There’s a hint of sheen that subtly evokes powerful emotions,” explains Peter who blended Diorskin Star Fluid Foundation into the skin for a luminous base. He then used a concealer stick to hide redness and blemishes.
Step 2 Dab on eye shadow
“The eyes were bare except for a ring of translucent peachy coral shadow,” he adds. Using his fingertips, he applied the shadow before blending it out toward the temples.
Step 3 Add a touch of gloss to lips
Use a transparent gloss for “a completely natural and transparent shine”.
Easy and gorgeous!
