Fashion Month provided us with major hairspiration, so now is the time to try out the runway trends yourself, starting with the chic bow seen at Carolina Herrera’s spring/summer 2017 New York Fashion Week show. Inspired by Japanese origami, the style matches the equally sophisticated collection to a tee, and it’s simple to do, too! Here’s your how-to:
1 The key to nailing this look is super-smooth strands, so start by washing your hair thoroughly with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo
,
followed by TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Conditioner
.
2 Apply a small amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximiser
to damp hair, then blowdry straight using a round bristle brush.
3 To ensure that you’re not left with any kinks or strays, run a hair straightener over your locks and smooth over with TRESemmé Oil Elixir
for added shine.
4 Make a deep side parting and comb your hair back, spraying TRESemmé Firm Hold Hairspray
all over to keep your locks in place.
5 Take a 5cm section of hair from just above the ear and sweep it across to the opposite side. Fasten with a small strand from that side using a small, clear elastic band. Repeat on the opposite side.
6 Tuck the elastics under the opposite part of your hair so that they’re out of sight. Gently use a soft bristle brush to tame flyaways, and finish with TRESemmé Firm Hold Hairspray
.
