During a survey done by Shiseido on 443 women, more than half felt that the wrinkles around their eyes were their main concern. During the study, they narrowed down the eye concerns to five different types: corner crinkling, under eye wrinkles, lid creases, crow’s feet and under puffiness lines.
To diminish the appearance of these concerns, you need an eye cream. The structure of the skin around your eyes is different to the other areas on your face – more fragile – which is why a targeted product is needed and the application is essential.
Follow our DOs and DON’Ts to flatter your peepers.
DO apply it using your ring finger. This is the gentlest way to apply the cream.
DO start at the outside. Pat the product on, working from your crow’s feet as the 80 percent of the product is deposited where you start. This is where you need the action most.
DON’T use too much eye cream. You only need about a rice-grain-sized amount for each eye. More cream doesn’t make it more effective.
