Here’s a quick solution to brighten up grey, dull days. Add a pop of colour to your makeup. The key? Keep the focus on one area of the face.
This season, we’re loving colourful eyeshadows – they play up your eyes and give your usual nude look an overhaul. When you’re working with an eyeshadow quad (like our favourites below), start with the lightest shade all over the lid up to the brow. Then, work the medium shade over the lid up to the crease. Use the dark shade to create some definition, brushing it from the outer corner into the crease. And, finally, use a thin brush to apply the darkest shade along the top lash line and halfway along the bottom lash line. Add mascara to finish it off.
For a pop of rich purple, try Clinique All About Shadow Quads in Going Steady(R495).
Add muted moss shades with Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in Forest(R495).
