9 May marked one of the year’s most stylish, starry and prestigious events: our GLAMOUR’s Most GLAMOURous Awards in association with Listerine Advanced White. An annual celebration of all things gorgeous, GLAMOUR’s Most GLAMOURous honours 10 women who epitomise this magical quality, and this year’s winners were celebrated with a sophisticated soirée at the beautiful Summer Place in Joburg.
On arrival, SA’s A-listers were treated to canapés, welcome drinks by Rose’s and Pravda, and makeup touch-ups at the 3INA makeup station. Our awards ceremony then began with our MC, the ever-charming Proverb, and our editor Pnina Fenster taking to the stage to announce our 10 phenomenal winners: Alyssa Cole, Cara Frew, Dineo Moeketsi, Lulama Wolf, Mishka Patel, Boity Thulo, Jenna McArthur, Taryn Louch, Enhle Mbali Maphumulo and Marianne Fassler. Then Listerine Advance White’s brand ambassadress Sarie Liebenberg announced a special award for the evening: Most Confident Smile, which was given to model Gabrielle van der Watt.
After the ceremony, guests partied the night away to the sweet tunes of DJ Kimmy K, while enjoying all of the event’s fantastic features: a gorgeous flower wall from Listerine Advanced White where they could have their photographs printed by Glamcam, sweet treats from the incredible performing food artists Ice Cream Ninjas, and a Boulevard Rosé champagne fountain and flaring barmen.
At the end of the evening, our winners left with a wonderful floral bouquet and mouthwash from Listerine Advanced White; makeup products and a voucher from 3INA; cordials from Rose’s; earrings, a necklace, a bracelet and a clutch from Colette By Colette Hayman; body scrub and hand cream from The Body Shop; a scented candle from Jo Malone; sunglasses from Levi’s; a GlamPalm hair straightener and voucher; a Lipault bag; a Daniel Klein watch; a bottle of Pravda vodka; a voucher from Camelot Spa The Regent; a Salon Only blow-dry cream; a Paul Mitchell Marula cream; a TIGI texturiser; Biosense shampoo and conditioner; a Moroccanoil treatment; a Typo journal and pen; and a power bank from Makro.
As for the guests, their goodie bags held makeup products and a voucher from 3INA, mouthwash from Listerine Advanced White, cordials from Rose’s, a mini bottle of Pravda, a Paul Mitchell Marula oil, a Moroccanoil treatment, body scrub and hand cream from The Body Shop, a GlamPalm voucher and a Typo pen.
