Sandra OgbNigeria, has always been driven by a passion for growth and self-expression. A graduate of the University of Benin with a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration, Sandra's academic background laid the foundation for her leadership and business acumen. However, her heart belonged to fashion, a love instilled in her from an early age, growing up in a family where fashion design was the primary profession.
Before founding the renowned House of Moesha in 2015, Sandra ventured into the world of general merchandise, experimenting with different aspects of business. Her time working as a Personal Assistant to Dr. Abiola Bashorun was pivotal; it was there that she realized her true purpose was not just to serve but to style—to make women feel powerful, elegant, and confident through fashion. Inspired by her decade-long experience and unyielding passion for clothing, she began her transition from retail to bespoke fashion.
The birth of House of Moesha marked the beginning of a new era in Sandra’s journey. What began as a small fashion retail business has now expanded into a multifaceted enterprise, specializing in bespoke designs, ready-to-wear collections, couture, fashion entertainment, and factory uniform supply. Sandra’s eye for detail and commitment to delivering personalized, unique services have set her apart in the competitive world of fashion.
Her deep-rooted background in fashion, passed down from her parents, combined with her years of experience, allowed Sandra to carve a niche for herself. Beyond creating stylish and elegant clothing, she has made it her mission to educate the next generation of fashion enthusiasts through training programs, ensuring that her passion and expertise are passed on to others.
Sandra’s success story, however, is not just about her thriving business; it’s also about her dedication to giving back. Having come from humble beginnings, she understands the importance of social responsibility. Actively involved in humanitarian services, she uses her platform to empower others and to make a positive impact on her community.
Her path has not been without challenges. The last five years have been particularly difficult, filled with obstacles, setbacks, and moments of doubt. But Sandra’s resilience and faith have been her guiding forces. She credits God as the major source of her strength, acknowledging that her background often felt like a place of impossibility and stagnation. Yet, she never let her circumstances define her future.
Sandra’s guiding philosophy, “There is no rain without a storm and no testimony without a test,” has been the cornerstone of her journey. For her, quitting has never been an option. Despite the trials she has faced, she knows that her past mistakes and imperfections do not define her future. Rather, they add to the richness of her story, reminding her that every flaw and every victory is a part of her evolving narrative.
As she continues to lead House of Moesha with vision and grace, Sandra Ogbolu is a living testament to the power of persistence, passion, and faith. “Today, I am who I am, with my flaws and beauty,” she says. “Tomorrow, I will be wiser, and that will be me too, because my flaws and imperfections also add to the beauty of my story. I have come to love myself for all that I am, who I was, and who I hope to be. There is so much ahead of me.”
With her unwavering spirit and commitment to excellence, Sandra's journey is far from over. House of Moesha stands as a beacon of what is possible when passion meets purpose, and her legacy continues to inspire those around her.
