A Winter Wonderland inspired wedding – how beautiful!
Carmen and her husband JC’s romance began to blossom when they met eachother at the office. After a typical whirlwind romance JC proposed and Carmen, of course, said “yes”.
“My wedding decor and theme was inspired by the season and town I love most: Winter and Stellenbosch,” explains Carmen. So naturally the wedding was held at a beautiful wine estate. With a spectacular view of the winelands and the fallen leaves of autumn, the setting was truly perfect.
The reception was held indoors in the most gorgeous banquet style hall. Mirrors, statues, glass and flowers adorned the tables, while incredible crystal-like chandeliers hung from the ceiling – creating a beautiful snowy Winter Wonderland feel. In true Stellenbosch style, olives, cheeses and bread sticks were served on wooden boards decorated with autumn leaves.
Carmen’s gorgeous wedding dress was definitely the show stopper though! Her trumpet style gown was covered in the most beautiful lace which resembled winter snowflakes. Carmen opted for a trending bardot neckline, a keyhole back and the most stunning long sheer sleeves. Her hair was curled and styled to the side to show off her natural makeup and teardrop earrings.
