GLAMOUR: What inspired you to name the album “A Mild Case of Insomnia”?
JM: Sleepless nights of songwriting and time spent in the studio. I spent months writing, finding my sound and quickly became addicted to creating music and art, feeling unable to stop.
GLAMOUR:What is your number one goal for this album?
JM: To show the world what indie artists are made of.
GLAMOUR:What was it like touring the UK & Europe?
JM: One of the best experiences of my life, I was able to see so many fans from different countries, experience different cultures and share unreleased music live.
GLAMOUR: How do you stay active and make time for personal things?
JM: Hard work and determination. I make sure to workout daily, it’s important to look after your body and mind. But the truth is, you’ve just gotta put your head down and work hard in every aspect of your life.
GLAMOUR: What's something most people wouldn't know about you?
JM: I’m extremely passionate about the world of business, finance and artificial intelligence. I’m currently studying my Bachelor of Commerce and plan on finishing my honours and an MBA by the age of 22.
GLAMOUR:Your single “Caught Up” is so catchy. What inspired your song-writing process this time around?
JM: Thank you! I appreciate that. To be honest, I have no idea. I woke up early one morning to play piano and it just came out. I wrote it in around 15 minutes and knew I needed to get it recorded. My producer loved it and “Caught Up” was born.
GLAMOUR:What else do you have coming up this year that we can look forward to?
JM: My second studio album “A Mild Case Of Insomnia” will be releasing later this year, “Stay” & “Caught Up” were just a taste of what’s to come.
