By now you know that this past weekend was super epic with the annual Rocking The Daisies Music Festival. We got to party and enjoy the festival with South Africa’s most loved Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker who had their all new Johnnie Walker Jungle addition to the 2019 event line up. The Johnnie Walker Jungle stage, which made its debut at Rocking the Daisies this year, included an array of genres such as Afrobeat, hip-hop, R&B and soul. The brand’s notion to self-disrupt and live your richest life, came into play this past weekend as festival goers came in numbers to enjoy the exclusive and most loved talent at the Johnnie Walker Jungle stage.
The Johnnie Walker brand is no stranger to the festival lifestyle, with their long standing DStv Delicious Festival partnership, it was almost inevitable for the brand to join the Rocking The Daisies line up and of course in true Johnnie Walker style the brand did so with a bang. Livhuwani Makungo, Brand Manager at Johnnie Walker SA says that, “The 2019 Rocking The Daisies Festival hosts 1000s of festival goers and much like other events we take part in, we are always looking for ways to shift the narrative of whisky enjoyment.
