After waiting a whole five years for Pusha T to put out an album, Drake goes and ruins it all! Last week Pusha T released his much-awaited, Kanye-West-produced album, Daytona, to rave reviews. But the fanfare only lasted for a few days, until Drake caught wind of Pusha T’s scathing verse in the song Infrared.
In Infrared, Pusha raps: “It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin.” The line refers to the rumour that Drake’s alleged ghostwriter is Quentin Miller – a rumour that was started by Drake’s former rap opponent Meek Mill.
Drake went into the studio to respond to Pusha’s verse, saying:
The diss track spread like wildfire and got the attention of Hip Hop’s finest who had the following to say:
Questlove
