African-inspired art for a cause
A week long first-of-its-kind project titled ‘Art Project Thanda – Star for Life 2016’ was recently held at Thanda Safari, a private game reserve located in KwaZulu-Natal. Twenty artists from around the world worked together with the AIDS awareness, education and prevention programme for school children, Star for Life. The art created by the international artists will go on to benefit the programme by raising funds through a unique exhibition and auction that will be held at Stockholm’s Auktionsverk in Autumn 2017.
