Corona SunSets Festival is coming to Cape Town the 16th of December at the Corona SunSets Oval and The Bungalow Venue in Clifton. With UK DJ, Duke Dumont as the headline act, supported by Samm Feldt and Nora En Pure and local favourites Sketchy Bongo and Crazy White Boy it’s sure to be a fun-filled festival.

Calling all Star Wars fans! You can now rock this classic on your feet – how exciting! Superga has teamed up with the major movie franchise to bring adults and children super-cool kicks. The Superga X Star Wars collection will be launched on the 16th of December 2016

Burger and milkshake lovers unite

If you’re visiting the V&A Waterfront this festive season, make sure to grab a bite at Gibson’s. This restaurant is known for its amazing burgers (choose from a selection of 40!), fantastic milkshakes (100 flavours!) and their famous smoked bar-b-que ribs. You won’t be disappointed.

Fashion gets conscious

It’s been a big week for the socially-conscious fashion movement, with the launch of the new  Magents and WearSA retail stores in Menlyn Park, Pretoria! These are two local brands that have an important ethos in common: a commitment to recognising, celebrating and promoting homegrown fashion. Check them out now!

Calling all local creatives

The Cape Craft and Design Institute(CCDI) has developed a new online platform focused on showcasing South Africa’s stunning craft and design products. Thanks to funding from the South African Department of Small Business Development, the site www.peek.org.za is up and running. Although it is not a trading website, it’s perfect for local creative to showcase their work and link potential buyers to their own websites. Go ahead and sign up – it’s free too!

Sleep necessities

Shop Supré for all things in women’s fashion. They’ve now added sleepwear to their range. Inspired by magical fantasy with unicorns and mermaids. PUMA and Diamond Supply Co. release their first ever collaboration. Inspired by the 90s skate culture the “Classic Suede” is sleek and sports a tone-on-tone colours and will be available from the 17th of December 2016.
