In that case; get your girls, mpintshi, mtshana, and whatever you call each other, here comes yet another “epic” event for fashion, music, entertainment and the actual main event, ouch! The horse racing.
This year’s event is on Saturday July 6, and here are a few things we have found out about it;
Theme
This is what often keeps many coming for more.The event's theme is, “Stars of Africa”, well this should say it all perhaps. As we have mentioned, the rest of the Africa, our very own kasi stand still during this event. But if you fear missing out on good things, well do come through. It is going to be “lit”.
Tickets
The tickets to the VDJ are already available and the many people who have been to this event know that buying them sooner is the best, as, towards the event, they will be quite scarce.
Fashion shows
Sticking to tradition once more, the names of who would feature at the event have been released.
This is one of the prides and joy of the event. There is also the young designer award where design students are asked to come through and submit some of their work.Georgina Brink who scooped last year’s student award hails from one of KwaZulu Natal tertiary institutions who greatly benefit from the event.
