We recommend:
The Big Gus pizza – Caramelised pork with red pepper, onion, soya sauce, honey, mango and coriander (R11o). We also adored the capsicum and serrano ham (R130).

A great neighbourhood feel combines with an impressive array of pizzas. Plus the drive there is oh-so-scenic.

The wild boar ragú pizza with mushroom, fiordilatte and chestnuts (R115) or the Moroccan lamb, feta, garlic, chilli and minted sour cream pizza (R130).
BOCCA

This hot and happening spot boast an interior that’s just as stylish and cool as its patrons, and we loved watching the chefs from above as they skilfully assembled delicious offerings.
We recommend:
The prosciutto and rocket pizza (R108) and the Felino pizza with mozzarella, gorgonzola, olives, salami and mint pesto (R94).

If you’re looking for a restaurant that feels just like home (but wit much better pizzas!), Polpetta is for you.
We recommend:

Situated deep in the south of Jozi, Vera Vita lives up to it’s slogan ‘Experience the true life’ with some of the best pizzas around and a friendly, laidback vibe.
We recommend:
